Spending time walking on the beach, exploring the mountains and just clearing our minds in the forest is important to us - we always come home refreshed, happier and feeling positivity all around. Did you know that there are significant emotional and physical benefits gained by spending time in nature? Connecting with nature is especially important for our well-being as we age, which provides us benefits for both the body and mind.
Managing Pain Enhances a Youthful Life
Living with chronic pain at any age can be a barrier to living a full and youthful life. As we age, we can expect to experience an increase in joint, muscle and nerve pain, especially if our lifestyle becomes less active – and it is hard to push through pain to maintain that activity!
Age Spots
We LOVE the sun, but being exposed to UV light for longer times can come with risks for your skin. So, it is really important to take care and protect your skin. We spend a lot of our time on and around the beach, in the warmth and sunlight is where we are most happy. Because of all this time in the sun and keeping our age in mind we have to be extra careful and are more sensitive to developing age spots.
